This is a test of the comments attachment plugin. It appears to work, so feel free to add media to your comments! (That image I used to test it is an early appearance of Peter Parker next to a photo of Steve Ditko, of course.)
Great! Wow – Ditko – famously avoided cameras…one of my favorites – so thanks!
And I look forward to reading the complete liner notes.
Thanks, Charlie
Love it Peter – there,s lot’s of history there – a great read – Love the names of all them bands you mention &/or came up with too
John Parrott passed on in 2023.
Hi Peter, long time since we’ve chatted. Hope all is well. Just wanted to drop by and say hello. Haven’t seen you post on FB in a while and miss hearing from you.
Peter – you had great advice for musicians about singing backup in a video but I can’t find it. Could you tell us where that’s at?
yow, wish I did. eventually I hope to curate myself, somewhat. can’t even remember what met advice was.
Hey Peter, I have a large batch of tapes that I have been storing since the 80’s for Banana – most are 2″ from the Raccoon – Warners days but there are also some 7″ reel to reel misc. stuff – I had not looked through any of it for decades and yesterday took a look at what was there and one of the reel to reel tape boxes is labeled: Holy Modal Rounders Live at The Someplace Else Coffee House Boston April 9, 1964 Steve Weber- guitar Peter Stampfel – banjo I think there also is a large reel of the Rounders live in Portland – not sure if that’s Maine or one of the rare west coast journeys.
